R2S™ regulated 2-stage charging - turbocharging technology with a system
BW TS offers engine manufacturers another extremely high performance turbocharging system with the R2S™ regulated 2-stage turbocharging system. It was designed for use in future commercial vehicle generations to meet the highest demands in terms of power development, fuel consumption and environmental compatibility.
The regulated 2-stage turbocharging system allows for continuous adaptation of the turbine and compressor sides for each engine operating point. Its most important advantages are:
